BACKGROUND

Dell Cross graduated from Auburn University in 1985, with honors, and from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1989. He was Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review, and was a member of Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society and Phi Delta Phi. He also was selected as a member of both the National Trial Advocacy and ATLA Trial Teams.

Dell achieved national recognition while attending the University of Alabama School of Law. He was the recipient of the 1989 American College of Trial Lawyers Award for Most Promising Trial Lawyer. He also was awarded the George Peach Taylor Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.

He began his legal career as an attorney with Starnes & Atchison (now Starnes Davis Florie LLP) in Birmingham where he had the privilege of learning from some of the finest defense lawyers in the State of Alabama.

PRACTICE AND RESULTS

Dell has been a trial lawyer for over 30 years. He has substantial experience representing individuals and businesses in state and federal courts and has achieved multi-million dollar jury verdicts and settlements for his clients in a broad range of cases. He has handled well over 1,000 cases resulting in verdicts and settlements in excess of $125,000,000.00.

Dell has represented clients in state and federal courts in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and Massachusetts. He represents plaintiffs in various types of cases including wrongful death, trucking litigation, drug and medical device litigation, toxic exposure, products liability, nursing home neglect, insurance fraud and bad faith, automobile accidents and work related injuries.
