The length of time to successfully complete a case depends on the facts and the type of case that we’re handling. Typically, in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama and in other counties in Alabama, you find that we can usually have a case move up the court’s docket pretty quickly. The courts in Alabama, the judges in Alabama, are really good and very conscientious about the needs of the litigants in their courts, about moving a case along on a quick path.

But the complexity of the case, the number of witnesses, the extent of the client’s injuries and course of treatment, and how much time is required to successfully complete their treatments, the number of doctors and healthcare providers involved, the extent of the expert witnesses both on our behalf, that is, who work or consult with us, as well as expert witnesses obtained by the defense, can make a big difference. So, typically the length of a case will typically range from six months to two years.
