Should I Speak With An Insurance Representative If They Call Me?

Video Transcription:

After we undertake representation of clients, if an insurance representative or the insurance company were to contact our clients in Tuscaloosa or elsewhere in Alabama, we routinely tell them to do one…to do two things, to simply thank them for the call and to say, “I am now represented. Here’s my attorney’s name and telephone number please give him a call, and he’ll take care of any questions or any needs you may have.”

It’s important, in an auto injury case or any other type of accident or injury case, that the client refrain from discussing the case with anyone other than a member of our law firm. That’s important. And we urge clients and we urge and caution clients to make every effort to strictly comply with that request so that all their information is filtered through us. And we find that that eliminates any inconsistencies or potential conflicts that might arise.

Hear What Our Clients Have To Say

"I have been friends with Dell Cross since we were roommates at UA Law and have had the pleasure of conferring with Cross & Smith, LLC in a professional capacity for many years. As a law office which specializes in domestic relations and family law matters, it is imperative that my office maintain a consistent client referral relationship with a law firm which can effectively address personal injury matters brought to us by our clients."
